1. If you were to hit on a great new idea at work - one that was exciting but not exactly practical - you would:
Detail the project on paper, but then decide it's too ambitious and discard the memo
Think about it a bit more and decide to dismiss it, figuring there's no way it would work out
Put your thoughts together and approach your boss right away to capitalise on your enthusiasm
Write a memo to your boss detailing your plan, but put it aside for a time when you know she will be open to it

2. If you felt uneasy (had a knot in your stomach or a racing pulse) after being asked to do something new and risky at work or by friends, you would:
Ask questions to try to pinpoint what's troubling you about it, then take a night to "sleep on it" before making a final decision
Say yes, but proceed with caution
Say yes and not dwell on your misgivings - you chalk up your feelings to overreaction or a bad mood
Decline the request - your body is telling you your heart just isn't in it

3. When faced with making a difficult decision, whether at work or in your personal life, you tend to:
Make a decision based on what you're feeling at the particular moment - you want to get on with it so you can put your plan into action
Sit with the decision, meditate on it or pray about it - you don't act until you are relaxed and have a strong feeling in one direction
Check in with a trusted friend or family member, think about the short- and long-term outcomes and gauge your gut feeling - you take all of this into consideration before making a choice
Weigh your options logically - for example, you might write a pros and cons list and go with the most practical of choices
