The style quiz: What does your home say about you?
Is there any better way to learn more about a person than by looking at where she lives? So what is your home saying about you? And how can you be sure that you're filling your home with items and furnishings that are true reflections of who you are (instead of just a bunch of random stuff)?

It's time to discover your Home Style Profile. Just answer this series of questions, and unlock the door to the real you!

1. Imagine that a friend is coming over for the first time. What part of the house don't you want her to see?
The master bathroom - I don't want anyone to see the outdated fixtures in there until I get a chance to renovate
My house is never 'ready for prime time' - I'll just do a quick pick-up and hope for the best, or better yet, arrange to meet her out for coffee
My workspace - even though it's my favourite part of the house, I don't want anyone to see my various unfinished projects, or my piles of supplies
My bedroom - you can't even see the floor because there are clothes strewn everywhere
My drawers or cabinets - they are liable to be jam-packed with all the things I don't have room to display on my bookshelves
My kitchen - I just can't seem to get it feeling cosy
My kids' rooms - they are the only parts of the house that I can't control

2. What's your favourite spot in your home?
The kitchen - I spend most of my time there
My cupboards - they are tidy and organised and give me a sense of comfort and control
The couch - I love to flop there
My workspace - it's the one place that's all my own and where I really get to express my creativity
My bathroom - it's my personal temple, filled with pretty things
My bookshelves - I love looking at them and getting to see all of the various things that are important to me on display
My living room - it's the place that most looks like the beautiful rooms I see in my favourite home catalogues and magazines
