1.
How old is your toddler?
Less than 18 months old
Between 18 months and 2½ years old
Older than 2½
2.
When your toddler needs to urinate or have a bowel movement, does she recognise or indicate the need to go?
She always lets me know when she has to go 'number one' or 'number two' and then does so in her nappy.
I usually don't know that she has gone until I check for it or see a telltale facial expression.
She usually lets me know that she has gone after the fact.
3.
Your child has been sitting around in a wet or dirty nappy. What's his mood like?
He demonstrates some irritation with the dirty nappy but doesn't appear to be overwhelmingly concerned.
He emphatically does not like being in a dirty nappy and is not happy until he is changed again.
He couldn't care less about his nappy as long as he's getting attention or playing with his favourite toy.
4.
How would you describe your child's personality?
'No' is pretty much the only word in her vocabulary right now. We're in the midst of the terrible twos.
She's pleasant, happy, a little flighty still, but it's just her age.
She's very eager to please and will usually do whatever Mummy and Daddy ask of her.
5.
Does your child show any interest in the toilet?
He has picked out his own potty and loves to sit on it. He seems eager to learn how to go to the toilet like the big kids do.
None whatsoever. He will not sit on the toilet or potty, not even with his clothes on, and he particularly hates flushing.
He is interested in the potty. Occasionally he'll sit on it, but he refuses to actually use it.
